Urogynaecology & Urology Procedures Course

This was the first time the ICENI Centre has run the Urogynaecology and Urology Procedures Course with course lead Mr Fadi Alfhaily.  

Urology & Urogynaecology consultants, trainees and specialist nurses joined us from across the UK to enhance their understanding of the full spectrum of ambulatory urogynaecology/urology procedures.

The day included:

• Setting up equipment
• Procedure techniques and common pathology
• Updates on overactive bladder
• pathophysiology and aetiology
• Botulinum toxin bladder injections
• Periurethral Bulkamid injections
• PTNS and physiotherapy

Hands on sessions involved:

• Cystoscopy
• Bulkamid
• Botulinum toxin
• PTNS
