Cadaveric Total Knee Replacement Course

Two days worth of Total Knee Replacement knowledge was shared on our Cadaveric Total Knee Replacement Course in March 2026.

With a packed programme to follow, delegates spent the first day learning about total knee replacement, the history of the design and pre-operative planning, followed by practical Sawbones sessions and rotating groups to explore TKR designs and kit, Gaps and Gaps balancing, alignment philosophies and approaches to soft tissue balancing.

Day two included robotic Sawbones sessions, complex case discussion and a cadaveric practical session looking at trauma approaches to distal femur and proximal tibia, fasciotomy of the leg and an optional trauma approached to the ankle.

One Delegate said it was, "One of the best courses I have attended so far.  Practicing skills on Sawbones and Cadaver was great.  All the mentors were very friendly and approachable.  Having small groups rotate amongst different mentors is a great way of getting a wide spectrum of knowledge."

Another Delegate said, "My second course at the venue.  Always the right balance between lectures and practical work."
